Enviro Foam Insulation is owned and operated by the Baines Brothers: Steve, Matt, and Chris. Our individual training and experience in the construction and renovation industry taught us that many buildings are not insulated and sealed as well as they could be. This can lead to drafts, dust, mold, rot, noise, and high energy bills. As a result, we started Enviro Foam Insulation to provide our customers with a more efficient way to insulate and seal their buildings. Enviro Foam Insulation’s CUFCA licensed applicators insulate and seal with PF-7300-0 Soya; a CCMC approved Soya-Based 2lb. closed cell urethane spray foam. Studies by The US Department of Energy, Oak Ridge National Laboratories, The Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation, and others show this to be the most cost effective, energy efficient and environmentally friendly insulation method available today. Enviro Foam is made from Soybean Oil and Recycled Plastic Bottles, and uses a Zero Ozone Depletion Substance (ZERO ODS) blowing agent. It exceeds all the requirements of the Canadian National Building Code for a Thermal Insulation, as well as a Vapour Barrier, and an Air Barrier. Enviro Foam exceeds the quality standard CAN/ULC S 705.1 “Standard for Thermal Insulation Spray Applied Rigid Polyurethane Foam Medium Density Material Specification”. It also increases the shear and racking strength of walls, roofs, and floors by 300%. Spray Foam insulation is fast becoming the industry standard for hard to insulate areas such as Rim Joists, Sill Areas, Cantilevers, Bays, Cathedral Ceilings, and Bonus Rooms.
